A quirky cottage with a garden full of surprises and "delightful" odors. No need to worry about chatting to other guests, because there were none. The lack of WiFi made for a relaxing "digital detox" experience.

Who needs WiFi when you can enjoy the smells of a dog-filled downstairs and an ill-fitting loo seat? Oh, and don't forget about the unwelcoming welcome mat.

The cottage was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. The new shower room was lovely! The back garden had fabulous views and a table and chairs for dining al fresco. I could bring my dog, and he felt very at home. The location is close to amenities and local walks, with a comfortable 10-minute walk to Porlock, which has a good range of shops and food outlets. The cottage was warm and had adequate room for two. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the bedrooms are comfortable and quiet, with the pleasant sound of a stream.

Felt most welcome, no reason to complain.

The free WiFi was such a treat, I could scroll through social media while enjoying the lovely garden and BBQ. Oh, and the private beach was just divine!

Who needs recycling or a clean oven when you can have a dirty oven and no recycling facilities? So charming!

We spent hours exploring the charming little village, enjoying the picturesque views of the harbor and indulging in some delicious local seafood. The kids loved playing on the beach and we even managed to catch a beautiful sunset. It was such a memorable experience for the whole family.

My wife says that it would have been great if there were more family-friendly activities available at Woodedge.
